Default Would you mind for a couple of sevens?

This is in line with my quest to stop being so weak.

Raise the flop ok? Turn call ok?

I am raising pf.

and folding the turn. What hands call your flop raise and lead into youon the turn? Either BB was betting the flush draw and it got there - you are behind. He might have bet a pair of tens - you are behind. He might have bet a hand like A5 and just made trips - you are behind. I think you rivered him.

Grunching

I don't know why you would raise the flop. If someone was on a flush draw, it would still be an ok call, and even if you were ahead here, your draws and redraws are not that great.

I like everything else though, I would raise the river and call a 3-bet.

That would be a great first step in your quest. Hand plays differently thereafter.

I am surprised by everyone pre flop raise. Is that because it's 7 handed, or should I open raise from EP in a 9 handed game also?

It's 7 handed, and there is a poster's dead money in there.

That and the fact that there is an extra blind being posted.

Only if you're feeling extra frisky.
