wow, incredibly wrong you are.

Tiger simply had to be above average(PGA Tour wise) for 120ish straight tourney's(not hard when you are that good).

Huh? His streak isn't as impressive because he is amazingly good? Would it be a greater streak if a mediocre hitter hit in 56 straight instead of DiMaggio? [img]/images/graemlins/confused.gif[/img]

You are just being ridiculous.

DiMaggio had to be WAY above average during that streak. No one has come close to breaking his record.

Tiger simply had to be above average during his cut streak.

Not really. You just have to be average day in and day out. The whole streak is the impressive part, not each day. Because just about every player in baseball will have at least 56 games with hits. He just strung them together.
