Default Coldcalling with QJs

I think I coldcall too much. Should I have folded this preflop? How was the rest of the hand?

If this hand is a regular part of your play, then yes, you are cold calling too much. You did get lucky with the suited jack. Hope you won it.

I tend towards the pump it or dump it camp. So what do I think I can beat with QJ suited? Not much, I dump it.

Clearly QJs isn't ahead preflop here. But since I'm in position multiway it doesn't need to be ahead. It might be too far behind, thats my question, but the fact that its behind isn't enough reason to fold.

What are you doing with the river bet? I can't see a hand that you beat calling you (especially since the flush comes off and you've been passive, he seems unlikely to call with AK), or a better hand folding for this pot.

Top pair good kicker can't be value bet here? Don't get me wrong, the flush did get there, but this bet is automatic unless you are trying to induce a bluff.

Surely you don't want me to checkfold, so when is checkcalling better than leading?

reads?

I cold call a loose raiser if I expect the blinds to come making the pot multiway.
