Default How to fix things?

Been playing for almost a year now (not very much, 1-2 hours on a good day) My main problem is lack of focus.

I can't pay attention while playing or even think about the hand indepth. Someone bet about half the pot on a 6-10-2-J board, and I have QJ so I call. No "Did that J help him? K-J? 10-J? 6-6?" (which he had) Just call, call, lose.

And I know I should, but in live games, I never study anyone. I may know this guy plays loose or not, but that's about it.

So, anyone have advice on fixing these things?

If you're not alert and awake enough to concentrate on the game, don't play.

I'm not saying it's lack of energy/sleep that's making me play wrong, it's me not actitly conecentrating and wondering if anyone's had the same problem and overcame it and had some advice.
