"Official" Live at the Bike thread (5/12)

Tonight is scheduled to be another $5,000 1 table tournament. This was first attempted two weeks ago and Dr Jerry Buss' business partner Frank Mariani finished 1st in a shocking upset. Should be interesting to see if it's more of the same people or if there's more professional type players in the mix.

Last night's 30/60 show had some of the best action of any of their recent Wednesday Limit broadcasts. It helped to have 2 contrasting commentary teams, with Bart and Steve covering the first half, and the new breakout pairing of Jana and Jennifer.

One final note, they've announced that they're going to air the final table of their thebike.com "freeroll" (10 tourney points PLUS $10). However, on the L@TB schedule, they still have the $200 NL game listed. So what's going to happen? A confused public awaits the answer.

The girls started a little slow but finished strong. I still say they were a little hammered but it was enjoyable nonetheless. Good change of pace.

Hopefully there are some bigger names in this game than last time.
