am I misreading youro hand? Do you have something better than Q high?

I think a raise here will be very suspicious. Are there any hand you could have had on the flop that you would play this way (on a non bluff).

I have queen high.

I don't need to 'represent' a hand, they aren't that good.

I'd call for information. I think you are good more than 1 in 4 here. That turn and river couldn't have help him.

I like calling better than raising...

if you raise he probably calls with Ahigh.

i guess he'd fold QJ, which beats you, but other than that you don't have much bluff equity here.

I would have bet the turn, but given that you checked i think you need to fold if you miss, which you did.

I agree with Dave, The Flop missed you...what makes you think it didnt miss him. Bet the Turn, he may lay it down.
Take the free showdown unimproved, I'd assume if he calls the turn bet he would call the river bet as well with out any reads.

I'm just a 5/10 donk, but isn't the better line bet the turn-take free showdown unimproved (and fold to a river bet)?

By checking the turn, you're inviting a river bet/bluff, and hence, you're inviting this dilemma when bet into.

Hero will be hard pressed to call a turn check-raise though and may have up to 13 outs against an 8 or small pair.

Well, on this turn you have a gutshot, and pair outs might be good(if you're hand isn't already good)... so you'd hate to be bluff CR'ed on the turn.

i kind of like this line, but maybe its not for the rigth reasons??
