Default (AC) Who has the better guest rooms

The Trump Taj or the Tropicana. Also who has the better MTT's?

This will be my first trip to AC that was not spent in the Borgota.

I think the Trop has better guest rooms (it might depend on the tower you're in though, I've only stayed their a couple times). The beds are definitely better at Trop (softer). Don't get me wrong though, Taj rooms are nice also. I'd always stay at Taj to be closer to the action I want (mid limits). I think Trop is a nicer hotel overall...Quarter and its restaurants are really nice.

Is it a long walk between the two or should i use a cab? The more reading I do the more it looks like I'm going to stay at the trop and play at the Taj.

The trop room I stayed in about a year ago was terrible.

Every Taj room I have stayed in has been fine.

The Borgata rooms are WAY better than either.

It is a LONG walk. Doable on a nice day, but long. The cab ride between the two is $8. You can probably catch a jitney somewhere...but cabs are quick and easy. Also, the Trop room is decent so you can always hit it on your way to bed if you're so inclined.

I always stay at the Trop and have never had a bad experience, plus the price is likely to be way less than the Taj.

I really enjoy te walk up the boardwalk, it is a bit of a hike, but it helps me clear my head.
