I disagree. I can think of a number of situations where it's good.

You've been posting here long enough that I thought you could figure it out on your own, but meh.

You are UTG. A maniac (88/32) is UTG+1. The rest of the table is average but has been playing back at the maniac with increasing regularity.

You are in a very tough (tight, aggressive) game. You have AA UTG.

You are in that same tough (tight, aggressive) game. You now have AJs, 99, 88, or 77, UTG.

In that tough game, you're going to need to limp #1 and #2 with some degree of frequency. I'm not trying to use the standard line here, but do you see why? It's actually pretty important.

Do LRR's fail sometimes? You betcha. Are they overused by players who don't think about the necessary conditions to pull one of these plays off? You betcha. Are they the right play to make in some situations? Mmmm-hmmmm.

see at lower micros i immediately thought "hell, no!". why? because mostly people will call you with junk and cold call all the time. so it is of more value to play more or less straigth forward.

higher levels (no idea how to define "higher" exactly), but it could be a new "tool" to use.

personally, i HATE it at micros.

You have AA UTG, and the average pfr of UTG+1 through button is >= 38.5.

I still say no.

I would want the maniac to 3bet me there. They'll call anyway if they want too and plus it doesn't give away any information about my hand. Limp reraise screams big pocket pair.
