Default What\'s the proper play here?

Just received this e-mail:

Dear Mr. ---,

I have received a midterm eval from Professor --- stating that you have missed at least 10 classes this quarter already. Can you tell me what is preventing you from attending class?

I look forward to hearing from you.

Sincerely,
Dean ---

If SU doesn't require you to come to class, I wouldn't respond. If they do, you're screwed.

Well I think you're supposed to but who knows. I am confident in getting at least a B in this class anyway. This happened last quarter too with an 8:45 AM class (this class now is 9 AM) where I missed 15-20 classes but still got an A-. I'm not in any academic trouble here really but I think "they" are "concerned" for me.

I don't think any of my classes were mandatory to attend, that's strange.

Maybe they read your blog? .

Here's what I do. Don't schedule classes at times I won't show up. After my 1st quarter at school, I never had another class before 10.

dear dean -----,

I regret that my attendance for last quarter to the class in question was unsatisfactory. I had a really tough time getting cleaned up after boning your wife and still making it to class on time. I weighed out the options and decided that her old saggy box was worth a poor attendance record- she is a demon in the sack.

adulterously yours

poppinjay.

Well, I always pulled the "In addition to my 18 units, I work 40 hours a week" card. I got out of attendance requirements for virtually all of my morning classes that way.
