Default Toshiba A70 Satelite.... trying to get 4 tables, no overlap

Is this even possible? I try increasing the resolution, but all that happens is that the screen expands outside of the range of the monitor. Can anyone help me?

I have the same laptop, and no, unfortunately it isn't possible. Two tables is just barely acceptable on this computer, even with the widescreen layout.

My unrefined solution is the VGA output on the back-- I just bought a refurb 21" sony CRT-- That way I can four-table on the CRT and have internet/IM/PT/PV running on the other screen.

Basically, if youre travelling alot, the only real way I know of to four-table without multiple monitors on a laptop is the Dell 9300/XPS.

Dell 6000 has the 15.4" widescreen right? Would this make each table extremely small/hard to see?

I hear that there is a lot of squinting going on with the 6000

The 9300 is the best bet but is a lot of $$$.

I guess it depends on your vision. I've had mine for a few weeks and it does take some squinting to view webpages, but you can adjust the resolution for that or make text bigger on your browser (ctrl + for firefox). for actual multitabling, the 6000's 15.4" screen is absolutely fine. there is no issue at all with tables being too small or anything. the text boxes (at least on party/skins/stars) are still easy to read. another thing is that the 6000 is a bit lighter than the 9300. hope this helps.

I have the 6000, you can use a program called EyeRelief to increase the DPI w/o messing with Party tables.

In Firefox you can go into Options and set the minimum font size to something larger, which is what I've done.
