Hell yeah !! I'm ALL IN !!!! Sweet. Nice one. Although, technically, you are 40 % to win that from the flop because of his redraws but you can't know that he has a set. Given that it was only $8 more to call for you , it appears that you were getting correct odds to call even if he did have a set. You need 3 to 2 odds, btw only because you are all-in and no future betting takes place.

standard, although your flop raise should have been bigger

also, i hope you didn't try to tell people about "the odds when the money went in". don't educate the fish cause this is one of the most profitable plays against them.

It looks like you were getting the correct odds. It's hard to put him on a set and you have so many outs. If I was at your table, I wouldn't have criticized you.

Good point. If someone makes a bad call and draws out on me, I just say "nh" (even though I know it wasn't). Positive reinforcement!

Your check-raise should have been larger. You don't want to price someone in since you are out of position.

After the hand, say you flopped the straight.

Right. The beauty of an OESD+FD is you can combine folding equity w/ a great chance of drawing out. That flop min.raise has slim to non folding equity. Make a big raise to like $7-8, committing you both. The reason I don't like re-raising all in is it's quite obvious your on a big draw. Play it like you would a set combined w/ getting maximum folding equity.

i'd reraise all-in with a set too.

actually, it looks like hero led off with a minbet that villain minraised and hero min-reraised. i hate this hand now. play it like you have some balls.

Well, in that case, just push.

Against bad players, which is a random player at this level, I'm not re-raising all in w/ a set. I might against good players though. Against a bad player, pot commit him and he won't even notice it.

My only concern would by that he is pushing a higher flush draw so that half my outs are dead.
