WSOP circuit Lake Tahoe hand
100/200 blinds with 25 ante 9 handed. 34 left out of 138 starting 1500 buy in pays 9 spots.
Average stack is 10,000. David, an fairly aggressive player with south american features and a huge head of curly black hair raises UTG+1 to 800. A MP tight player calls the 800. There is 2100 is the pot, and I have 3000 in chips with JJ in the cut off. Men the master is on the button with only 900 in chips, as he went all in two hands ago and lost, spilling his Corona into a jumble of felt and chips as he pushed. I could fold, and wait for a better spot, but I need to double or triple up before too long especially since it pays to 9 spots. I could call and take a look at the flop but that would leave me with 2200 about 11x BB. I could push and hope for the best as I would have a coin flip at best. If both players call the all in and I hit the Jack, I would more than triple up and then have an average stack. I decide to push. Comments? |
