This is a stupid hand really. I just want confirmation.
$2/$4NL. The rock or rocks raises to $20. He plays 9% of hands and raises 1%. Im the BB and flat call heads up. The flop comes QJT. Do you check fold? Like I said, this is a stupid hand. |

Well I guess it would depend on what you have, doesn't it?

Fold preflop. If you don't have suited purple horseshoes delt to you then it isn't worth it.
If you do make this shitty call then if you lose on the river yell SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION and throw in another half pot of chips and then you can see 6th street, 7th street, and save the princess. |

UGH! The hand got me so discombobulated that I forgot to say I have AA.
He has $400 and I have him covered. I checked and he bet 1/2 pot. |

Against this player, is a flat call preflop really the way to go? He will have QQ, KK, AA or AK 100% of the time here, right. Most of the rocks I know dislike letting go of their sweet pairs preflop.

Reraise him preflop to $70 or $80.
Then bet out on the flop, most rocks will be scared of this flop unless they have the nuts. |
