Re: How many people bet this flop?
I don't. This is a crappy position and your hand while probably best, will unlikely to be best at showdown. A bet here is basically a bluff with some extra information. If you think your opponents will fold then go for it. Otherwise check and use your reads to see how things develop.

[/ QUOTE ] i usually bet here, but you make some good points. checking gives you a better idea of what you're up against. depending on what position the bet comes from, how many callers, etc... |

I don't think your equity is high enough here to throw in a bet. I'd check.

Re: How many people bet this flop?
i check fold this bottom pair on a paired board with 2 outs that may be toast if there is a Q in play not worth it.

Re: How many people bet this flop?
If I was later, or my pair was bigger, or there were less people in the hand, I do. But this particular hand I check.

[/ QUOTE ] No matter what action you choose to take on the flop is easy compared to what happens when you end up seeing the turn. Depending on stuff, I could see myself doing pretty much everything on this flop. (bet, check-call, check-fold, check-raise). |
