UTG minraises. He is a habitual minraiser and has been quiet for the most part, plays a little funky sometimes. This raise can be anything from a pocketpair to KJs to 67s etc. He has 2k+ I have about 1400.
2 callers, I call with A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (sometimes I reraise) Flop comes 235r 1 diamond. He bets 20, I call. Turn Kd He bets 80 (I'm pretty confident he has a real hand here, straight or set; I make it 240, He makes it 400 I call. River Ts He checks (now I know he doesn't have the nuts) I bet 400, he calls. Should I have moved in on the turn? How about the river bet, I don't think he'd call much more, he must have had a set. Pretty confident he would have laid down on the turn if I had moved in unless he had either straight, then again, I do risk the board pairing if he does have a set. (I could also be off and he could just have an overpair). In short, what would you do differently? |

Find a way to get your money in once he does that on the turn. I dont care how, give him the chance at least.

I raise flop to build pot.
Failing to do that, I call on the turn after his reraise and then curse the times that the board does pair(break my mouse at times as well). You have ~1k left on the river so bet it. He bet 400 on the turn and you bet 400 on the river? I know you don't want him to fold but I would make it at least 550-700 and maybe all-in depending on how stupid he is.
