Stuck?
Up a little, down a little, seem stuck on a plateau after 2k hands or so. Is this characteristic of the micros? Or do we all regress to the mean after a while. Whats your experience? Any fixes? Such as moving up in limits? Hard to generalize I know, but any suggestions appreciated.

Re: Stuck?
It happens. Just be glad your not running cold yet. That can be brutal.

Re: Stuck?
2k hands is way too few to think about this. to put it in perspective, there are more than a few people who play that many hands in a day.

Re: Stuck?
Thanks. Thought that may be the case. And after reading the thread on "How much do you make" below I'll calm down.

Re: Stuck?
A stagnant game is not a good reason to move up in limits.
A stagnant game is a good reason to skip a poker session in favor of sifting through your PT numbers or re-reading a book. However, 2k hands isn't too much even though it may feel like it took forever to get there. |

Re: Stuck?
It's normal for it to be up and down, and 2k hands isn't too significant, keep at it, and read more, I guarentee that things will shine more for you.

Re: Stuck?
As others have mentioned, you've got a small sample size.
That said, perhaps a little bit of introspection might be helpful here. Do *you* think your game is improving? That is, are you counting outs correctly, making good reads, being aggressive, playing tightly, and not going to far with marginal hands, etc. Even if you are doing all of these things and more, you may be running badly. Bottom line - try to assess your game without thinking in terms of your results. |

Re: Stuck?
It seems to me as though your bankroll only makes progress in about half the hands you play. This 2 k is really nothing.
