AA out of Position
I had a question about playing this flop out of position with AA. THis is a $5.50 SNG on Poker Stars. This is only the 4th hand, so I have no reads on anyone yet.

Final Pot: t3410 Was the all-in a bad play? I was worried about making a weak bet and figured I'd call a raise anyway.

Hi Wired,
Position certainly is a problem here, but so is the number of villains you are facing - and I think this would shape my post-flop play. I think you need to play this a little faster pre-flop. With two people left to act, a smallish raise such as this will get called way too often. When the pot gets to you, there is t380 in the middle. When you only raise to t300, the CO needs to call t220 into a pot worth over t600 (getting nearly 3:1) and the button is getting rediculously good odds. In situations like this, I will usually raise the value of the pot over and above the raise to me. So in this case, I'd make it at least t500 to go. With any luck this will inspire someone to push. Once this flop comes down, your options are limited, and if someone is on KK or JJ (or since it's a $5.50, KJs), you may well be going broke here. This is, it seems to me, a way-ahead, way-behind situation. So with three players to act, I would probably check here, and see what happens. If the villains go nuts, it seems likely that you're looking at two-pair or a set (two AKs seem unlikely), and you can consider folding with a playable stack. If you get a weak bet, check-raise all-in. If you're going to bet, your pretty much have to push. If you bet t500, you only have t700 behind, which will make playing the turn very difficult. the reraise to 300 does seem a little greedy. The trapped players are giving the button a huge overlay. I agree that the OP should have popped it more pf, say, making it T500 - 600 to go. Didn't notice that.
Regardless, the button sure looks ready to go down with his KK.

Thanks. I agree that my re-raise was pretty weak. I was afraid of scaring everyone off. I didn't expect the trapped players to call the re-raise. But again, they were probably getting some odds to call based on the low re-raise bet. So, I've learned that lesson. I got called by the button with KK - which held up. Ultimately, I think even if I threw this in PF or Post-flop, I'm losing my stack on this one.
