Default The crypto\'s openly support rakeback... and they are on NASDAQ

Why isn't this a problem for them? Do the investment bankers just not care about it or do they not even know/understand? I was under the impression from some of the party threads that rakeback at a publicly traded company would be a huge deal.

The crypto sites work directly with the rakeback sites to deposit what is owed to you directly into your account each month, so they obviously know about it and support it.

Dont know about the others but for example Will Hill, Poker will be such a small part of the business that it probably doesnt register.

Party I suspect their main income stream is poker so it does matter more.

maybe...just maybe the IPO reason is not the real reason in the party case - perhaps its just in order to stop the players from shopping around to the different affiliates.

Cryptologic only makes and licenses the software that runs the sites. they don't actually operate the gambling companies.

I would imagine it's fine if a site openly supports rakeback as part of their business plan. The problem with party's system to the investors, I'm guessing, is that rakeback is prohibited but tacitly tolerated. Nothing is inherently wrong with the idea of a rakeback. For Party to ostensibly disallow it, while looking the other way when they know it is going on and could stop it, is a perception a public company can't afford.

Except that their rake tracking has been down for a week. Not cool.

They have been down for an extended period of time in the past. I would not be concerned, yet.........
