Default Omaha Tourneys Short Stack Advice

I have played some Pot Limit Omaha in cash games but I have yet to play a tournament.

In a cash game I only ever play hands with 4 cards working together unless I'm allowed a free flop from the blinds.
In a tournament with progressive blinds I may become short stacked at some stage.

In these circumstances what type of 3 card hands should I be looking to make a stand with or will any suited Ace do ?

In a hold'em tourney when short stacked I always want to make the 1st raise am I right to assume the same principle would apply in Omaha ?

Thanks for your help

Ross
