Why do you want a free showdown? With this board and the fact that two players coldcalled preflop, do you really think AK unimproved is going to win this hand?

I check it. You're seeing a river regardless and I would rather pay fewer bets to do so. You don't have enough equity for it to be for value as well.

Edit - I forgot to add some outs in there. Like ColdCash said, it could be for value here if at least 2 call

I don't? Even eliminating my overs as dirty I've got the clubs and 4 tens. 13 outs, 2.5:1, 4 way pot, bet, no?

1)You don't know how many players are going to call a bet.
2)It would suck to get raised, which is a distinct possibility with so many cards in the playing zone.

You have 12 outs to the nuts, and two overcards which may or may not be good. You obviously don't want to get raised, but I don't think it's so bad, especially if other people come along.

I was under the impression that you would bet the turn if:

1) It's for value
2) It has fold equity
or
3) You have a chance to win UI.

I don't think any of these are the case. #1 is the only debatable one but at the risk of being raised I don't like it.

I could be blowing smoke.

yeah, i can't add, after reading CC's post, i edited my own. Go ahead and bet it b/c u have some folding equity against a jack or something and if someone else is drawing you could take it down even if one or two others call UI.
