Default A simple yes will suffice. An OC hand.

I just need one thing from you people. Just confirm for me that this is the type of action I want to see. I know the answer, I just need to hear it. (That's why I posted the results) This kind of stuff has been beating my ass for the last 800 hands or so.

Also, how was my Overcard play?

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (8 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, Hero raises, MP1 calls, 1 fold, sfklm calls, CO calls, 2 folds, BB folds.

Flop: (8.50 SB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls, sfklm calls, CO folds.

Turn: (5.75 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, MP1 calls $0.75 (All-In), sfklm calls.

River: (8.50 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players, 1 all-in)
Hero checks, sfklm checks.

Final Pot: 8.50 BB

Results in white below:
Hero has As Qd (high card, ace).
MP1 has Td 9d (high card, king).
Outcome: Hero wins 8.50 BB.

Thanks,

Fishlips

I thought so, until the river anyhow. I will admit, betting it I was gritting my teeth.

How is getting called by a hand with 3 outs, and improper odds, not the action I want?

Which hand was calling you with 3 outs? The only hand we know about was calling you with 8.5 outs (open-ended straight + flush draw).

Seems to me that this is pretty rare: betting for value with overcards vs. draws as opposed to cutting down opponents with weak made hands.

I looks like there is something going on with the hand converter, the side pot action, and/or the way I put the info into the converter.

I didn't win the pot, sfklm won it , she had A4o. Also, sfklm shouldn't be identified. I checked all my converter settings, and they seem correct.

Dunno

I don't get your question.

There is no other way to play this hand.

I just needed confirmation, as I am on a horrendous downswing atm. And losing these kinds of hands is unpleasant.

Thanks
