Default NBC Heads Up Poker Championship airs tomorrow, 5/1 at Noon EST

Just a reminder to everyone on the board that NBC will air show 1 (of 6) of the NBC Heads Up Poker Championship at noon on Sunday, 5/1. The detailed show schedule is on the web site (link below).

I've seen the first three shows and while of course I'm biased, I think they're all great (in particular shows 2 and 3).

Hope everyone enjoys the shows.

For more info, go to the recently relaunched NBC Heads Up Poker Championship Web Site

yeah. i was unaware of this too.

When I heard about NBC doing this poker show I just assumed it would be on during some prime-time slot for some reason.

Sunday at noon won't quite attract as many viewers (or newbies to the online rooms) as I would have hoped.

Every little bit of coverage helps of course...but Sunday at noon is not exactly the best time-slot out there.

The prime-time replays on CNBC help also...but that's still cable, not a major-network-prime-time poker-show like I was hoping for.

I'll still be watching of course. Just was hoping there would be more prime-time network-viewers with me.

i was fortunate enough to watch this two-day event live (it was a long weekend), and i'm telling you it was an amazing structure. some of the hands and moves lit up the room. i can't say enough about this show...i can't wait to watch it again...especially as it gets towards the end. great stuff.

3 hands in 13 minutes and we have no idea how Doyle got the lead since we only saw one hand that he lost before heading to commercial...I hope the future episodes are better and I'll aslo be taping these with the DVR in the future to cut down the fluff...I imagine there's maybe 13 minutes or so of actual poker hands!
