Why the weak bet on the turn?

because i thought that he had an overpair, and that he thought that i could easily have AQ/KQ given my preflop and flop action (i would have folded these preflop but he doesn't know that)

Any reads?
Besides having a read I think you have to call this almost always and if shown a bigger boat then deal w/ it, your going to always lose your stack on these hands.

You might, but good players don't. Bottom set isn't a hand you always have to lose with.

Methinks AQ raises somewhere before the river, AK looks more likely than AQ.

It looks like he has AA. I think folding here would not be bad.

What hand does he re-raise from the small blind with? Given how this hand played out, I think it's highly likely he rivered a higher boat.

I agree. What hands can you put villain on that hero is ahead of here and plays this way? This looks almost completely like AA or maybe AQ, but not as likely.
