Re: Lay Down My Boat?
Why the weak bet on the turn?

Re: Lay Down My Boat?
because i thought that he had an overpair, and that he thought that i could easily have AQ/KQ given my preflop and flop action (i would have folded these preflop but he doesn't know that)

Re: Lay Down My Boat?
Any reads?
Besides having a read I think you have to call this almost always and if shown a bigger boat then deal w/ it, your going to always lose your stack on these hands. |

your going to always lose your stack on these hands. [/ QUOTE ] You might, but good players don't. Bottom set isn't a hand you always have to lose with. |

Re: Lay Down My Boat?
I hate the flop call..raise the pot
I think it's a debtable yet +EV laydown.. looks too much like AQ |

Re: Lay Down My Boat?
Methinks AQ raises somewhere before the river, AK looks more likely than AQ.

Re: Lay Down My Boat?
It looks like he has AA. I think folding here would not be bad.
What hand does he re-raise from the small blind with? Given how this hand played out, I think it's highly likely he rivered a higher boat. |

What hands can you put villain on that hero is ahead of here and plays this way? This looks almost completely like AA or maybe AQ, but not as likely. -Trail |
