Multiple Monitor Background Questions

I've asked some other 2+2'ers and they had no idea, i was wondering about what different things you can do with dual monitors and your background(s). I wanna get either 2 different backgrounds, or one huge (horizontally) background that would stretch across both monitors (prob wont work as good as first option because other monitor is 3/4 size of main). any know how i could do this?
