Fish don't raise with draws. I'd fold pre-flop. Postflop looks nice.

Do you normally play this in MP2? I tend to muck it. I'll play it on the button if there are mucho limpers.
Should I be playing these hands more? |

I dislike the flop raise, even though it probably saved you the pot. I want lots of people in, since I can't win the pot without a pat hand (excepting running trips). I understand you have great equity, but I don't want the field to face two.

Then if I knew the table tended not to like to call two, I would not have raised as there is no one trapped for one bet yet. But with only 6 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] high, I think knocking one [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] holders out is paramount. For that reason, I think the flop raise is very important here, and it's a big advantage to be able to make the field face two. |

Re: I was called a fish...did I play like one?
Nope, you didn't play it as a fish, but I would have folded this pre-flop. Where you were on the flop, you made the rest of the field call two cold, which I wouldn't have done. Had there been some callers between the bettor and you, a raise would be fine though, trapping some extra bets.
Turn was good. River card sucks for you, but you have to call. |
