Default When to dump Big Slick PF?

Another problem area I have, I don't know when to fold. I think I was still tilting from my previous post but not sure. How bad is this? (Read: how often should I be folding Big Slick in a short handed game pf?) The villian had just sat down a few hands before this. Even though it doesn't mean much because it's so few hands.... 24 hands, VPIP 42%, pf raise 16%.

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 5 handed) converter

Hero ($38.5)
Button ($18.55)
SB ($25.5)
BB ($61.85)
UTG ($41.6)

Preflop: Hero is MP with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
<font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $2</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $3.5</font>, <font color="#666666">3 folds</font>, <font color="#CC3333">UTG raises to $40</font>, Hero calls $35 (All-In).

Flop: ($79.25) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Turn: ($79.25) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

River: ($79.25) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $79.25

Results in white below: <font color="#FFFFFF">
UTG has Qd Qc (two pair, queens and sevens).
Hero has Ad Kc (one pair, sevens).
Outcome: UTG wins $79.25. </font>

I dump this every time barring a great read on villain.

Easy fold. It's not worth racing for an entire buy-in, you should have enough of an overall edge to beat the game without racing. And you're going to be way behind a lot more than way ahead.

Oh, and don't mini-raise. Yuck.

Preflop: Hero is MP with A, K. SB posts a blind of $0.25.
UTG raises to $2, Hero raises to $3.5, 3 folds, UTG raises to $40, Hero calls $35 (All-In).

Hmm assuming re-raiser isn't insane he has:
AA (you are huge dog),
KK (you are big dog),
or QQ(you are 8% dog).

any pair you are dog to, and even if he has AK you will split the pot and pay about as much extra rake as you win back.

There is no way you can put somoeone on AQ or worse with this sort of play so you dump it in about .2 of a second..

AK = OK to raise all-in, never call all-in. 'nuff said.

Dump big slick on the river when your villain has made two pair:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) converter

saw flop|<font color="#C00000">saw showdown</font>

SB ($24.5)
BB ($27.16)
UTG ($12.8)
MP ($30.45)
<font color="#C00000">Hero ($21.52)</font>
<font color="#C00000">Button ($34.43)</font>

Preflop: Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. SB posts a blind of $0.1. Hero posts a blind of $0.25.
<font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, MP calls $0.25, <font color="#CC3333">Hero (poster) raises to $0.75</font>, Button calls $1, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, BB calls $0.75, MP calls $0.75.

Flop: ($4.10) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(4 players)</font>
BB checks, MP checks, <font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $4</font>, Button calls $4, BB folds, MP folds.

Turn: ($12.10) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">Hero bets $10</font>, Button calls $10.

River: ($32.10) 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players)</font>
Hero calls $6.52 (All-In), Button calls $6.52.

Final Pot: $45.14

Results in white below:
Hero has Ad Kh (two pair, kings and eights).
Button has Kd 9h (two pair, kings and nines).
Outcome: Button wins $45.14.

I really dont see you ahead of many hands here and for the few times the villian has AQ, AK, or AJ it inst worth calling this huge bet into such a small pot. The villan isnt looking to steal this 7 dollar pot, he is looking to quickly double up.

In that same vein, how about KK?

.25/.50 blinds live game. Hero has $40 behind, all others more.

Hero is UTG with KK and limps.

UTG+1 raises to 2.50. 3 callers, Hero raises $10 more.

UTG+1 pushes all in.

All fold to Hero.

Your action?
