Default Hand 4

1 limper to me in the SB with A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. I raise and BB and limper call.

Flop 4 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I bet, both call.

Turn A [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I bet BB raises and MP calls 2 cold. My play?

First I want some reads. Without a read I call down, with a read I might 3-bet. I don't fold obviously.

Thanks,

Guido

Posting all your hands without reads is definitely a leak. Do you not have reads when you play? Even pokertracker numbers are better than nothing. (although some may disagree)

I just call down sans read. I dont like a 3 bet here. To many broadway cards for some chook to think his A8o is good. And if you get capped you have to call, and then the pot on the river is going to be so big you will have to call again.

This is an easy river laydown (except against a lag) if the turn is capped. I three bet here at least half the time and check behind unimproved on the river. YOu have position, use it.

Might wanna reread

Regarding the hand, this is a very easy 3-bet in the games I play.
