Third and fourth are fine, obviously. Why the hell don't you bet fifth, though? The fold on sixth street is probably correct, although I you can make a case for calling.

I think I would have just bet fifth to see who I could get to fold. I find it very hard to believe that two pair is beat here. I think I would have given in and called too. There may be a chance that the 7's are just betting to bet.

Yeah it's true. The hand might have been less interested (over) if you bet.

You guys bring up a valid point. So this is a value bet on 5th and then take it from there? My theory at the time was there is barely any money at all in the pot and even though my sixes up was probably good against 4 players how often is my hand going to stand up? More or less is this is a +EV bet on 5th is the question I am asking.

Given that the hand played out the way it did I decided to fold on 6th because I was risking one BB to most likely end up chopping the pot on the end and not even being a lock for the high. I hate to sound like a nerd(thinking about long term EV) but I am thinking that calling down on 6th with just queens up into such a small pot that will probably chop is not a profitable play in the long run. I am not sure though...thats why I am asking yall. Thanks for the replies though.

I think a bet on 5th might have taken it down. And that is +EV to me...I don't know how awesome the pair of 7's hand is either. He may have been betting his sevens on this street because everyone was checking. Your Q's and 6's might be OK, but maybe not. The fact that everyone was checking doesn't give you alot of info, which is a decent reason in and of itself for a bet on 5th. If you bet fifth that guy might not have even been in on 6th. It's kind of like betting AQ on a flop of 659 after everyone checked. You need to find out where you are, and there is a decent chance you are ahead. That's just my opinion, but I really don't think I am as good as anyone else that posts here.

Thanks for the compliments! And I agree, it's pretty slim. It seems like this is one of those hands that you either give up on, or go down with the ship, and you have to choose. It's a close one. We need Zee!

Yeah. I was just choosing to let it go because there was no money in the pot. It didnt seem worth it. Very close. I am running bad though. If I was running good...maybe its a different story.
