I read hand two, and it was ugly. At least the river bet was.

Hand two is clearly the ugliest, I'll give you that. I should have checked the river, since he'd only call with better hands.

Cept he did not

In the dark.

Hand 1: I probably bet the flop here, but I can see checking.

Hand 2: Check behind that river. He's not going to call with something you beat.

Hand 3: If you have a read on CO as Bluffy the vampire slayer, check/calling down is probably better than bet/fold. Otherwise, bet fold is probably better.

Hand 4: A-OK.

Hand 5: That was probably a missed bet on the river. You would have heard about a 3 on the turn, and if he has 64 or 86, give him a pat on the back.

Hand 6: I think that's a good river check. You'll get shown a weak A if you're called more often than not.

He called with a worse hand? Wow. You get an A for table selection.

Hand 1: I've been trying to stop autobetting when I raise PF, but I think I'd still bet this flop when it's checked to me.

Hand 2: I'm not betting the river.

Hand 3: Against an unknown, I think this is okay, but I think a case could be made for checking and bet/folding. I may have bet the turn, but I don't know that I'd be able to fold against an unknown; I just see too many people willing to try bluffing when the board pairs for me to auto-fold.

Hand 4: I think this is fine.

Hand 5: Bet the river.

Hand 6: I dunno. I think I probably bet the river most of the time and check the other times.

[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img](In the dark)

Hand 1:
Pre-Flop: Duh, g00t.
Flop: Why aren't you betting for value here? Even with 3 opponents it seems unlikely this board hit anyone, and flush draws aren't folding anyway.
Turn & River: Perfect play against a calling station.

Hand 2:
I'm not sure how else you can play this against an unknown. Against a LAP I might just check/call the river thinking he might have caught a nine or ten. Then again, Mr. Wookie might call me a kitten killer.

Hand 3:
No reads makes this tough, but I think I'd c/r the turn and fold to a 3-bet. It costs 2BB, but you have some FE with the scare card, and check/calling here will cost you 2 BB if you're going to call down the river anyway.

Hand 4: Looks good.

Hand 5: I'd bet the river. Villain will have A high here or a lower pair plenty of times.

Hand 6: This one's close, but I think I'm check/calling here. Could be a busted flush draw, but might be a weak A. A bet here just folds the hands you already beat and costs you an extra bet when you're behind.

Hero has position (can't cc).

A possible alternative would be to check the turn and call a river bet. This is good if the opponent is fairly aggro.

Oops. Missed that. I think I'd check it through.

Edit: Who is Jack, and what's with you and Alobar's cryptic reference to him?
