someone solve my computer problem!!

Ok, on my quick launch bar, there is that little icon for "desktop", when you hit it, it minimizes every window and just displays your desktop. I accidently erased it and now have no idea how to get it back. It is annoying as hell to not have. Anyone know how to fix this?? A million and one thanks

Also, pressing the windows key+D serves the exact same function as the "Show Desktop" icon.

Wrong. When you hit Windows + (D) again, it restores your windows to where you had them.

Plus I just tried the Win + M and it got everthing but my trillian window. Win + D got it all (and then promptly returned it all to normal)
