Default burning cds (x-posted from the zoo)

I want to burn 720 megs worth of files onto a 700 meg cd. I remember hearing a long time ago that this was possible, but I have no idea how. Anyone know how to do this?

If your cd writer supports it, you can "over-burn" some brands of CD's. What software are you using to write CD's? On Nero, the option to enable over-burning is under File-->Preferences on the "Expert features" tab. It may or may not work depending on your media, but you can always give it a shot.
