Default Possible to add laptop to my current dual-2001fp setup for 3-screens??

I currently have dual 2001fps (running off a dual-DVI Matrox AGP card), and just bought a 9300 Inspiron that will do 1920x1200.

Is there any way to configure my setup to extend the desktop over ALL 3 SCREENS?? So that I'll be able to play 12 tables at once? Yes, I could just run a different poker client on the laptop separately, but then i'd have to use a different mouse/keypad...i'd rather have all 3 screens running off the same cpu...

If the laptop had video input capability (not familiar with the 9300, but video in on a laptop is semi-rare), then it'd be possible to use it as a 3rd monitor, but you'd then need to have another graphic card in your desktop to drive it.

I didn't find this product to be very effective. It's certainly not as smooth as having it hard wired and you have to register it or there is a reminder on the screen all the time.

there's a company called VillageTronic that makes a product that allows you to hook up a 2nd external monitor to your laptop.

don't know about windows -> windows, but there is a program called x2vnc that allows a XWindows user (unix) to control a windows machine with the same keyboard and mouse, it acts like two monitors. The second computer is still running all it's own programs, it's not just a monitor.

I have a similar set up (two FP2001s plus a 9300).

As you probably know, you can hook up both externals to your 9300, but you can't have the laptop's screen active as well.

One thing I've looked into is a PC-Card video card. They do make them, but they are expensive ($250 - $300). So, you would use the 9300's video card to run the laptop screen and one external, and the PC-Card video card for a second internal.

Villagetronic, mentioned above, is one of the manufacturers that make these.
