Default Playing overcards scared...

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed) converter

River: (13.25 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
MP3 checks, Hero bets, MP3 folds.

Final Pot: 14.25 BB

More often than not, I think I'd raise the flop here and
try to get a free card on the turn...

But, is call so very bad here?

I think you played this just fine.

I wouldn’t raise this flop because:

1. The flop missed you by a mile.
2. MP3 called one bet already. If it was going to be heads up with MP1 on the turn, I might consider a raise with this flop.

I play it the same. I generally don't like raising for free cards with just overs.
