Default Max5/max6 strategy advice

Hi

I have played Texas hold’em for some months now, and the game I prefer is max5 and max6 NL ring games, since it is far more action packed than full ring games and tournaments. However I have a few problems finding a good consistent strategy since I have not been able to find any books that cover shorthanded NL ring games. So what I do now I combine the theory from SSH with some of the practical advice from HOH. My game is also inspired by the article “Hypermegachi's 6-Max Texas Hold'em Limit Guide – Introduction” when it comes to starting hands in shorthanded games.

I play .1/.25 and .25/.5 games at Paradise, Pacific and Empire and the reason I write is that my bank roll have a variance like a roller coaster ride. So my play is probably pretty far from being optimal. Do you know any good articles or books that treat max6 games in some detail? Do you have other tips and tricks that will be useful when playing shorthanded NL ring games?

Best Regards

sunek
