Default Easy bet on the river?

I thought about betting the flop with the hopes of MP raising and thinning the field, but that never seems to work for me in this game.

You fold that getting 7:1 pre flop? Is that because q9o is so eadily dominated (and possibly in two places, one for each card)?

Why do you want to bet this ?

The raiser will have you beat often and it hits a coldcalling range pretty well too.

My play is to check down the river. A four way situation where all players called with an ace on board could point to a weak ace on the button or SB, and if not there are a few queens bigger than yours. Just my two microscopic cents.

I bet because no one showed any strength on the turn so I may very well be ahead here (that is it is a thin value bet). The questions are: am I ahead enough AND will a lesser hand call me enough to make this profittable. I certainly don't see any lesser hands bluffing if I check. MAYBE the last to act will fire a bet here if checked to, but against three opponents I doubt it.

So far I think there is one vote for bet the river and two for check.

you're right. thinking about it now, i think the play is to check, and see what happens.. then checkraise or check/fold.
