Default Vegas Hotels

Alright, here's the deal, some friends and myself are looking into putting together a Vegas trip towards the end of May. Since I know probably a large number of people on this forum have themselves visited Vegas on occasion or are knowledgable about these things, I thought I might ask for suggestions about where we should stay. There will be 6-8 and we are interested in the combination of both price and quality (i.e. let me have my cake and eat it too). So, if anyone could suggest a reasonable place to stay that isn't going to bankrupt a group of college students, that'd be swell (yes, I said swell!).

Thanks!

The Flamingo Hilton.

Great location, cheap rooms (for the strip), a great pool, young crowd, hot chickens, and walking distance from everywhere... especially Drai's, which is more important than you realize right now, but will be worthy of high-fives at 8:30am after your first night in town.

For what its worth...me and some of my college buddies have already booked our trip for vegas in august and we are staying off the strip downtown at Binions Horseshoe. I think price was more important than anything in out decision as we want to have as much money as possible to straight gamble with. But if you want to know our price is $375 and that includes rountrip airfare from Greensboro NC and 6 nights stay at the hotel. This is per person for 3 people.

We always stay at Bellagio just cuz its 5-star and we like the 5-star service.

"Its 2:30am now, at 4:00am we're bringing a bunch of girls back here and we need this room PIMP!"

By 3:30, that room is PIMP.

Call the poker room and ask for the 'poker rate'. They'll give you some cards the first time you go and make you track your play, then you get the rate on every stay there for the rest of your life. You have to put in 6 hours of poker (at any limit) per night you stay there. This can mean you and 4 buddies doing a 3-hour session on the last day, and that works for the whole trip.

No-max on number of guys per room, 2-beds is the max but you can ask for a cot.

$199 Sat/Sun
$129 Sun-Thu

Have fun!

Andre
