Default Limit newbie BR to sit down question

Hi. Experienced NL player wants to play some limit. Just wondering how much to sit down with at the table in terms of Big Bets.

Im sure this gets asked like once a week or something but I couldnt find it.

Thanks in advance
Sean

the standard party buy-in is 25BB. you can play with that a lot on the upside depending on a few things like how much you want to watch your stack, if it's live, etc... but generally speaking you want to make sure you have 12BB for every hand you play in case you get to cap every street with the nuts!
