Default Taj Brief Trip Report

I played at the Taj the other night. I play at Foxwoods and in the NYC rooms all the time, but havent been to AC since limit ruled the world and Chris Moneymaker still worked a day job. So, from what I read here, I was expecting a table full of nut peddlers and cranky old farts. Not the case at all! I played a 12 hour session and if I saw 2 rocks all night it was a lot. I played the 1/2 blind, $300 max buyin NL game, got there around midnight and stacks were already deep, which was fine by me. Two guys with at least a grand and average stack at least $500. 2 or 3 straight up calling stations, a chronic and horribly predictable bluffer and a few semi solid players. Plenty of limping and a lot of post flop play which I love, but also $15-$20 preflop raises would still get multiple callers with regularity. I didnt catch many breaks and wound up -$250 for the session but definitely recommend that game to anyone who likes no limit action games.
