Kk fights back against aggression... then slows down :)
Villian is typical nothing out of line from what I've seen.

Re: Kk fights back against aggression... then slows down :)
I like 3-betting the flop, calling down if he caps and leads. If he calls my 3-bet and checks to me, I'll bet. If he calls my 3-bet and bets, I'll probably get confused and call down.

Agreed. I like the idea of 3-betting this flop to find out where you are since you're either way ahead or way behind.

Re: Kk fights back against aggression... then slows down :)
Yeah I felt I was WA/WB. I tried to trap BB for another bet, (dead money), so I decided to wait and raise the turn.
I thought raising would do two things for me. Get a free showdown because A) Trip Js would fear a flush B) A flush would fear a boat C) He might try to get fancy and check/raise the river. I'm thinking my thought process was retarded. If I raise the turn what happens if I get 3 bet? Now I'll still have to call because I have a flush draw now. So in retrospect I agree with the first two posters about 3 betting the flop is better than waiting till the turn. Lesson learned... |

I think you need to 3-bet this flop. If he caps, call down unless you improve.
On the turn, the raise is ok how you played it. I'd bet the river unless he's really tricky. |

Re: Kk fights back against aggression... then slows down :)
I would 3-bet the flop. If he caps, I think I would be in check/call mode (is that too weak?). If he calls the 3-bet on the flop and bets the turn, I'm not sure what I would do (call or raise again).
If he checks the turn, I would bet. Is that just asking for a 3-bet, or is it a good bet? |

I like your line of thinking better than the "3-bet the flop to find out where you're at" crowd though. |

I hate when this happens. It kind of makes your head hurt.
I don't think not betting the flop is an option, and I don't think you can fold to the flop checkraise either. I would just call the turn. I definitely wouldn't raise again. |
