I decide I don't really have enough chips to fold this. Am I wrong? The turn check is to induce a bluff. How would you guys play it? I hate my river.

If you checked the turn to induce a bluff and he then bets into you then why would you consider folding?

I would push the turn.

i play it the same but call the river. why not leave yourself with a few extra chips to make a miracle stand? you've got to believe that you're less than 50% to win by this point, and it's even worse than that b/c T8/TQ fold to your push.

I don't think the river was as bad as it looked. The only hand i could put him on that the T helped was KQ, and since you have QQ you really cant be scared of that. If he had 78 or TT he played it bad real bad IHMO. Any thoughts on that thinking?

95% of the time you're behind it's to Jx and the T was irrelevant. he missed on a turn c/r and now he's betting for value. if he's going to let you see a showdown at a discount (compared to your stack), take that discount.

if you checked the turn to induce a bluff, why woudl you raise the river? For what its worth, I dont like the turn check, you have a hand that is somewhat vulnerable, and smaller pairs will pay you off if you push the turn. An A or K hitting on the river might lose you the pot, or kill your action.

Che made this point to me and you should keep this in mind.

You cant discount a hand from a possible range just because you know that if they have that hand it is being played poorly (wrong).

I think you play the hand fine until the river, I would just call. You are not giving up much at all if you are ahead here, and you still have chips to try to bubble in. This is a SAT Where you dont have to win every chip in play to get the 1st place prize.

Thats true but I was just pointing out that the river most likely didn't help his opponent, because he said "i hate my river" If you had not seen him play out of line yet (or even if he has) it was unlikley that he was holding any hand that the river helped.
