Default IPods In Vegas

Do any of the strip hotels prohibit the use of IPods at the table?

I'd be interested in this as well. I'm east coast & play primarily at Borgata, where iPods are verboten. Something about cheating concerns...

I'm sure I've seen people wearing headphones at Borgata.

It's against the rules in AC. It depends who the floor is whether it's tolerated.

I wore mine at the Palms, and I guess the brush had never seen one before because he thought it was just about the coolest thing in the world.

If you're going to play at the Palms though, bring a smoke mask instead of earphones because the smoke gets pretty thick in there sometimes.

WTF is wrong with MAndalay? They didnt have enough rules on the wall to enforce, need one more? Or do they want everyone who gets kicked out to be witnessed correctly by the other customers?

i played at mandalay bay last summer and they had a rule that i didn't know about where if you put your chips in front of your cards that's a bet. why can't they just get a circle on the felt? and if you knock the table to indicate a check and you have a chip in your hand, that's a bet. ridiculous stuff.
