[ QUOTE ]
Which is the more profitable (for you) incorrect play by an opponent: a) a player calls your bet with a weaker hand than yours b) a player folds to your bet a better hand than yours [/ QUOTE ] not enough information. In order to know for sure, we would need to know: - how much is the bet - how much is the pot - how much "better" or "worse" is your hand. (for example, 4:1 underdog, etc) It would be possible to contrive an example where an example of (a) is better than an example of (b), and vice versa. |

[ QUOTE ]
Which is the more profitable (for you) incorrect play by an opponent: a) a player calls your bet with a weaker hand than yours b) a player folds to your bet a better hand than yours [/ QUOTE ] Usually (b) because winning a pot is usually better than winning a bet, but as jba pointed out, 'it depends.' Edit: Note, however, it is easier to get an opponent to do (a).... |

Re: Fundamental Theorem Question
its all situational really.
A happens alot more in limit and thus is probably alot more important. |
