Default pokerroom\'s mobile game

I tried to play this, but couldn't figure out how to do it. My cell's web browser is wierd. I can't just type in urls and go, I have to access everything through a search engine. I fiound the pokerrrom page regarding the game, but couldn't find the download link. If anyone could walk me through the download process, I would appreciate it. Also, does anyone know of other sites that offer this? finally, I couldn't find a list of compatible phones on pokerrooms site. Does anyone have a list? I have a Motorola V180.

Have you thought about emailing pokerrooms support instead? I'm sure they'll be happy to help you.

I just heard about this service today from a friend.

I have to say, and i don't mean to take this thread off discussion, but while convienient for many, this whole thing seems like a bad idea - seems like the type of move that will bring US government regulation cracking down on online gambling, which for the most part till now they have done nothing about.

Can you imagine if it actually takes off? Regardless of what actually happens, you can hear the politicians now: Kids playing poker for money in school, parents unable to monitor what their kids are doing, etc etc etc...

seems like tempting fate to me, just asking Washington to come down on the industry, but maybe thats just me

That's an interesting perspective. When I first started playing online I did a little paranoid research on the legality, and the current situation is murky, at best. The main laws in the US that might be interpreted as a ban on online gambling are the RICO laws that were enacted in the 70's and 80's to stop the big crime families from using the telephone lines to pass bets from their bookies to the sportsbooks in Vegas. Since the internet is not technically a telephone line, the law may or may not apply to using your computer to send bets.

Actually using a cell phone might be the straw that breaks the conservative US government's back and spoils the party for all, but who really knows. If and when the US govt. decides that my main source of hobby income is illegal, I hope one of you Canuck's has room on their couch for a few weeks while I look for a nice pad in Vancouver. Any lawyers out there want to add some clarity and credibility to this discussion?
