Apparently Poker Tracker is "pirate software"

"While I was up in Foxwoods trying to qualify for the New England Classic, a couple of players told me about pirate software that tracks the tendencies of everybody playing on a particular site at any given moment – percentage of flops seen, showdowns won, folds/calls/checks/raises/re-raises, etc.)"

"Because I hadn't played against live competition since November, I wanted to start slowly and work my way into fighting trim, such as it might be. So I chose a $125 buy-in winner-take-all single-table satellite,"

Priceless

I also like how he played 10 Seat winner take all tournaments - with a 15 % rake.

$125 to enter, $1100 to win.

A "Good" player here would probably have a win rate of around 15-20%, yet he goes on tilt when he can't win in 4 tries?

Also - how lucky did he get with that J-T hand?

Needless to say, in all cases, the wait is a lot shorter on Captain Cooks

As noted above, Captain Cooks offers frequent freerolls and no-rake tournaments

The only reason he's over $10,000 is the Act III tourny he won at Foxwoods when he already secured his seat for the tournament. Other than that, he's only up $1,000 for the year.

He actually won 2 seats - he subtracted the first one after the tournament, but he has kept the winnings from the second.

So at best he is a break even player
