i was wondering how others play their blinds when dealt a hand such as face rag. Heres an example of what i mean.
Say im dealt J4 in the BB. 3 limpers plus small and big blind. Flop comes J93 w/ 2 hearts. small blind checks it. and its on me. is everyone raising into this flop every time? for me, it seems like im allways running into at least 2 callers on any of my raises and turn comes a scare flush/straight card, and/or a high card. it seems like raising in this position is more often unprofitable than it is profitable. does anyoen else think like this? |

Check-fold.

Either check-fold or if I've been cold carded for a few orbits (or the limpers are will fold w/o top pair) I'll often try to pick up the pot with a bet (and of course give up if called/raised).
