A correctly played hand?

Sure. Having said that, I like betting the flop more then I like going for a check/raise without some specific info such as "the CO will autobet when checked to". But yes this is how I will commonly play a low ranking flush draw from EP. You should be more inclined to bet the ace high flush draw to give people the chance to throw away a hand like AJ or A8.

I would bet the flop here myself.

The checkraise was good, but I think you lucked out by having the CO bet.

Other than that, okay.

I'm not risking this flop checking through. Bet it.

Yeah - I would have to bet this flop (especially with no read on the CO) because I would hate to see a draw this strong get checked through.

Cool that the CR worked out, though.

If you want to continue with this hand past the turn, bet the flop.

I don't like the C/R. Being that you did check, I just call COs bet.

I can see some Pro's and Cons here: You are getting sufficent odds to call down to the river trying to make your flush or pait of aces. I only see the extra bet as an extra bet to lose. The C/R makes you a larger pot so when you do hit, you get more $$$ in. With this in mind, perhaps the extra bet is goot. This also has the added bonus of making it look like you have a made hand such as a set. But, .5/1 is so LPP (aka fishy, but people don't like me to say fishy, so it's LPP) that you get no respect from a CR anyhow.

So, I would think all in all, bet that flop! otherwise, I'd play it the same.

Just my $.02, it may be wrong, it may be right, but no matter, it's only $.02.

Eh? Regardless of the flop or turn action, hero is seeing the river in this hand...

Sorry bout that, nerfed the math a bit. 3.5 BB on flop. If bet on turn, 4.5 BB (considering if there were no flop raise.) Unless of course it's bet and raised on turn, then it'd be 3 to 1 odds.

I don't understand the flop check.

Tarding:

Looks book-perfect. I would have bet the flop instead of c/r, but I figure c/r is the better value play if you have confidence that a bet will come.

c/r on the flop may lose you some bets on the turn, though (although it worked out on this hand).

Gotta bet the river - they aren't going to bet anything other than a flush at that point.

I say you did nicely.

EDIT - doh - I just called the hand "book-perfect" right after EM says not. That's why they call it tarding...
