Show Desktop.scf as part of Party upgrade?
Sorry if this has been discussed but I didn't find it by searching.
I just did the Party upgrade while looking for the $10 survey (seems to be gone) and after finishing the upgrade and closing the Party client, I received a Windows Explorer message asking whether I wanted to install Show Desktop.scf. I chose not to, and the Party client seems to work OK, although I didn't try to play any games. Anyone know anything about this file? I'm assuming it's how they can check what else you're running. Will I experience any problems since I declined? I opened and closed the client again and did not receive the prompt. Running Win2K. |

Anyone know anything about this file? [/ QUOTE ] Show Desktop is standard in windows and you might use it yourself. The actual icon will be on your taskbar, quick launch (if you haven't moved/deleted it) and by clicking it, it minimizes all windows and shows your desktop. I wouldn't worry about it. |
