Just got this in my e-mail, Sceptre 20.1" LCD at $499. Can do 1600x1200

It seems the 2001FP is coming down in price, but I thought I'd pass along this info.

Without even looking at the listing, for the extra $50 or so get a Dell on sale. The quality is really unsurpassed.

I bought one maybe 6 weeks ago, and I've been happy with it, except for the unhappiness-inducing malfunction wherein the power button broke about three days after I bought it. Wasn't worth spending the money on shipping to RMA it.

If I had it to do all over again, would I get a FP2001? Meh.

I think this is a silly thing to say. If you didn't look at the listing, how would you know it's not better than the 2001fp? plenty monitors are.

Costco has the best return policy ever. with the one exception of computers (which have a 6 month return policy) everything else has a lifetime return meaning you can bring this back in 5 years in decent shape and get a full refund (and then proceed to buy the latest LCD for $99) I'm definitely getting one of these [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]
