Default What\'s the bubble?

Sorry, probably a dumb question: what's a bubble, or playing "on the bubble"?

Thanks a lot! One more: what's ROI?

PS: is there a FAQ somewhere so I stop bothering everyone with those newbie questions?

"what's the bubble?"

The bubble is that period right before being IN THE MONEY. In small tournaments, like Party's 10 man Sit N Gos, the bubble is when it's 4 handed. In large Multi-table tournaments, say when, there's 1200+ participants, and being ITM is say the top 120, then the bubble is a little more than just the top 121.

Usually people will tighten up a bit on the bubble, good time to take advantage of it.
