Default Astute Bubble Play, or Just Dumb?

These numbers are estimations, I don't have the log handy.
10+1 Game.

Hero (6500)
Player2 (500)
Player3 (5000)
Player1 (2300)

ANTES/BLINDS
Hero posts blind ($150), Player2 posts blind ($300).

PRE-FLOP
Player3 folds, Player1 bets $600, Hero bets $2150...

For the purpose of this excercise, hero is holding any two.
Hero is thinking that Player2 will fold in hopes that Player1 calls and loses, putting himself in the money. Hero also believes that Player1, who has been playing conservatively, will fold all but premium hands to avoid going out fourth. How is that for a plan?

Results below:
Hero was holding Qc 9c.
Player2 folded as planned.
Player1 called with Kc Kd.
Player 1 wins pot.

Your move looks fine to me. Just maximising the folding equity you have here, which is huge. I'm guessing player 2 called with a hand he shouldn't have and won with it.
